Noritz America Corporation hereby warrants this gas water heater to be free from defects in materials and workmanship, under the following conditions:

 

 

Warranty Period¹

This Warranty is extended by Noritz to the Owner for the duration of this Warranty. This Warranty takes effect on the date of installation of the Product by the Noritz Authorized Installer or 30 days after the date of purchase, whichever occurs first, and is effective until the specified anniversary of such date as follows:

1.     12 years replacement on the heat exchanger when the product is used in a single family dwelling.

2.     For Commercial products², 5 years replacement on heat exchanger when the product is used for commercial capacity, if it is used in other than a single family dwelling, or if the product is supplied with pre-heated or circulated water.

3.     For Residential products², 3 years replacement on heat exchanger when the product is used for commercial capacity, if it is used in other than a single family dwelling, or if the product is supplied with pre-heated or circulated water.

4.     For Residential model series, NR83, NR98, NRC111, or NR111, 12 years³ replacement on heat exchanger when the product is used in a single family dwelling in conjunction with a controlled⁴ recirculation system installed in accordance with the Installation Manual.

5.     Parts other than heat exchanger, 5 years replacement of defective parts.

6.     1 year approved reasonable labor⁵.

 

¹This warranty period covers product installed on or after September 1, 2010. Product installed prior to September 1, 2010 and products which are no longer in production as of September 1, 2010 will be covered under the terms of the Limited Warranty as supplied in the original factory packaging.

²Commercial products begin with the prefix “NC”. Residential products begin with the prefix “NR”.

³12 years or 6500 operational (burn) hours as recorded by the water heater, whichever occurs first.

⁴An aquastat is the minimum pump control requirement in order to maintain the full recirculation warranty. Point of use or “on demand” recirculation system which are thermally controlled (i.e. aquastat) also classify as controlled systems.

⁵Labor will be paid to an authorized Noritz Service Representative on approved warranty repairs.

Boiler Products - ASME Certified (Models: NH150-DV, NH199-DV)

This Warranty is extended by Noritz to the Owner for the duration of this Warranty.  This Warranty takes effect on the date of installation of the Product by the Noritz Authorized Installer or 30 days after the date of purchase, whichever occurs first, and is effective until the specified anniversary of such date as follows: 

 

1.  10 years on heat exchanger (Pro-rated after first 5 years)

        1-5 years, Free replacement
        5-7 years, Noritz will provide a replacement heat exchanger at 25% of cost
        7-8 years, Noritz will provide a replacement heat exchanger at 50% of cost
        9-10 years, Noritz will provide a replacement heat exchanger at 75% of cost

2. Parts other than Heat Exchanger, 1 year Free replacement of defective parts

Warranty Terms Prior to Sept. 1, 2010

 

Tankless Hot Water Heaters (Series: NR66, NR71, NR98, NRC111, NR111, NCC199, NC250, NC380)

This Warranty is extended by Noritz to the Owner for the duration of this Warranty.  This Warranty takes effect on the date of installation of the Product by the Noritz Authorized Installer or 30 days after the date of purchase, whichever occurs first, and is effective until the specified anniversary of such date as follows:

 

1.  12 years¹ replacement on heat exchanger when the product is used in a single family dwelling.

2.  For Commercial products², 5 years replacement on heat exchanger when the product is used for

     commercial capacity, if it is used in other than a single family dwelling, or if the product is supplied

      with pre-heated or circulated water.

3.  For Residential products, 3 years replacement on heat exchanger when the product is used for

     commercial capacity, if it is used in other than a single family dwelling, or if the product is supplied

      with pre-heated or circulated water.

4.  Parts other than heat exchanger, 5¹ years replacement of defective parts. 

5.  1 year approved reasonable labor³.

 

¹Effective for products installed after January 1, 2009.  Product installed prior to January 1, 2009 will be covered under the terms of the Limited Warranty as supplied in the original factory packaging.  Products no longer in production will also be covered under the terms of the Limited Warranty as supplied in the original factory packaging.

²Effective July 1, 2009, Commercial products include model series NCC199-SV, NCC199-DV, NC250-SV-ASME, NC250-DV-ASME, NC380-SV-ASME.  Products installed prior to July 1, 2009 will be covered under the terms of the Limited Warranty as supplied in the original factory packaging.

³Labor will be paid to an authorized Noritz Service Representative on approved warranty repairs.

This Warranty is extended by Noritz to the Owner for the duration of this Warranty.  This Warranty takes effect on the date of installation of the Product by the Noritz Authorized Installer or 30 days after the date of purchase, whichever occurs first, and is effective until the specified anniversary of such date as follows:

 

1.  10 years replacement on heat exchanger when the product is used in a

     single family dwelling. 12 years for the N-0751M-DVC model only.

2.  3 years replacement on heat exchanger when the product is used for

     commercial capacity, if it is used in other than a single family dwelling,

     or if the product is supplied with pre-heated or circulated water.

3.  Parts other than heat exchanger, 3 years replacement of defective

     parts.  5 years for the N-0751M-DVC model only.

This Warranty is extended by Noritz to the Owner for the duration of this Warranty.  This Warranty takes effect on the date of installation of the Product by the Noritz Authorized Installer or 30 days after the date of purchase, whichever occurs first, and is effective until the 5th anniversary of such date.  Specific warranty periods are as follows:

 

1.  5 years replacement of heat exchanger.

2.  Parts other than heat exchanger, 5 years replacement of defective parts.
